Psalm 46: 10 “Be Still And Know That I Am God’”

14 May 2014

The art of being still in God's Presence is really a lost discipline in the lives of modern Christians.

Many are simply too busy doing their things or too busy chasing their worldly goals and dreams.

Commitments to seek God at the altar call should not last only for a short period nor should we go back to our old ” thread mill”.

Our walk with God should not be shallow. The songs we compose, the messages we preach and the lives we live should be very fruitful and impactful.

Sometimes it may seem like are not in God’s perfect will for our lives. We may have felt like we missed the rhythm of God’s grace like a car machine trying to run without the engine oil.

Perhaps you do not seem to be at the right place at the right time doing the right thing!  Your roads are rough and mountains are not removed. Problems, challenges, disappointment, failures, sickness, worry and frustration seem to be your portion. Does that describe you?

The personal altar and family altars need restoration badly. The church prayer meeting is attended by a handful and sometimes-shameful compare to the Sunday church attendance! Yet we Christians are satisfied to play the religious game Sunday after Sunday.

The Bible seems dry and we pray three times a day for the five times we take our meals. Do we only really seek God and pray when we face general election, crisis, disease, plague and natural calamity?  Has God becomes your “spare tyre” and no longer the steering wheel of your lives?

Do we hear God’s Voice?  Do we know His will and counsel? Are we just happy to go the preacher and ask for a prophetic word (short cut and substitute to seek God)?

Jesus Christ visited the home of Mary and Martha. Martha was so engrossed with cooking and serving like many of us and yet missed Jesus purpose of the visit. Martha was worried and distracted because she did not take the time to be still in Jesus Presence. She did not know the art and discipline of sitting at Jesus Feet. Martha chose serving but Mary chose to be still in His Presence. Which one do you CHOOSE? Jesus said Mary has CHOSEN the better deal.

The truth of this story is that though there are times we need to be Martha, she should never fail to be a MARY.

I believe NOW is the season to be Mary because God has many things to speak and impart to us. More importantly, He wants you to have an encounter with Him that will take you to your next level in your walk and ministry. Why not take this 3 days of public holidays 27 – 29 July 2014 in Malaysia and come and be STILL in His Presence. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Take the necessary steps and prepare yourself to seek God and have an encounter with HIM that will change your life and destiny. These 3 days will be rivers in the desert and springs in the wilderness. One touch of His favor is better than 10 years of hard labour. Like Joseph, one open door can elevate you from prison to palace. One healing touch can save you a lifetime of doctors and medication. One unique blessing from Heaven can last you for generations!

The Spirit of God is urging you to come and be STILL in His Presence. When you have Jesus, you have everything you need. Protection, provision, open doors, divine connection, favor, health and healing, bright future, peace, joy and love in your hearts. I urge you to take time off to be a Mary.

See you  MARY on 27 July at Mega Star Arena, Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur.
